The work of Rotaract member Campbell (pictured above) with his team on Saturday the 16th of March 2019 for the Holland Festival Event surpassed my expectations. When I gave the assignment, I asked Campbell to coordinate not only the shifts/ tea and coffee breaks/ lunch breaks (with the Rotaractors) but also keep me informed throughout the day. Not only Campbell adhered to the instructions given but also conducted a cross collaboration with Rotary Club of Casey with solutions for customer payments. The way Campbell and his team (on the day) handled the situation with the difficulty of payments was nothing short of amazing.

Campbell’s due diligence lead to a smooth transition of customer transactions as well as the support for the attendees were second to none. It gave me a great please to present the Cheque (on behalf of Rotary Club of Casey) to Campbell (Casey and Cardinia Rotaract).

From here the collaboration between both of the clubs will be reaching new heights as we are looking into Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) for all of the Rotaract members as well as a completion of Working with children Check. I believe this will not only strengthen the bond that I have been able to establish with them but also provide a smoother transition for them to join our club in the near future.

For once, I am looking forward to working with them in the future and further reinforce the Four-Way test of Rotary.
