We all have our moments and sometimes disagreements with our fellow members but...

PP Peter Stilburn (Charter Member), President Hakim Gassiep and Secretary Barry Erlenwein (Charter Member) saw the official opening of Phase 3 at Gippsland Rotary Centenary House. The Rotary Club of Casey sponsored the laundry room and fitout which was dedicated to the late RTN Kim Stilburn (Charter Member) who was our club's Secretary for 2 years/terms when we first chartered in 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prue Ingrams, CEO of Interplast was our special guest speaker. John Berends also a special guest was major sponsor of the Holland Festival, both shown. Last night the Rotary Casey flag was given to the Seaford-Carrum Downs Rotary Club as they along with President Hakim and Rotarian Paul presented Interplast with a cheque for $10,000. When we listened to the medical work Interplast does for 22 much smaller countries it makes you proud to be Australian. It was particularly special to have so many guests from that Club also attend our meeting.

 

 

 

 

The Rotary Club of Casey after a successful fundraising year, possibly the best we have ever had. We were able to offer the following donations below. These are in addition to the $10,000 that was donated to Interplast, $3799 to Rotaract, $1,000 to The Epilepsy Foundation, $600 to St Andrews Church child services, $2000 to GWS A Scouts, $1500 sponsorship to MUNA
